Landscape Architect

She graduated from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden (FH) in Germany as Dipl.-Ing. Landespflege. She holds a Master degree in Landscape Architecture achieved in Switzerland and Germany at the joint university program of HSR Rapperswil, FH Weihenstephan and HfWU Nürtingen-Geislingen. At HSR Rapperswil, she achieved a certificate of advanced studies in Project Management.

She enjoyed her early days in the career working overseas for Olin Partnership, Philadelphia, one of the main Landscape Architecture firms of the USA. Afterwards she collaborated with several offices throughout Germany, before she started to realize projects on her own responsibility. The chance to work in teaching and research for HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil, a main Swiss landscape architecture school, gave her the opportunity to contribute to projects in cultural heritage development, landscape design and sustainable tourism. Later on, she worked for a landscape architecture practice near Zurich, also managing complex public projects.

She is a chartered member of the Chamber of Architects of Saxony, with the qualification of Landscape Architect, she is chairwoman of the BDLA Saxony - Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekten, the German Landscape Architecture Association, and she is a member of AIAPP - The Italian Association of Landscape Architecture. Furthermore, she has been member of the BSLA - Bund Schweizer Landschaftsarchitekten und Landschaftsarchitektinnen, the Swiss Federation of Landscape Architects, where she held responsibility for Canton Zurich.

 

Matteo Cattaneo

Town and Regional Planner

He graduated in Italy at Politecnico of Milan in Spatial, Urban and Environmental Planning, with a specialization in urban design. He attended part of his studies in the United Kingdom, in exchange at the University of Sheffield and at Southbank University London, where he accomplished his thesis research. He holds a Master degree in Landscape Architecture achieved in Switzerland and Germany at the joint university program of HSR Rapperswil, FH Weihenstephan and HfWU Nürtingen-Geislingen.

After working few years for a main, Milan based Italian planning office, Federico Oliva Associati, he has been working and cooperating free lance at various offices in planning, architecture and environmental research, whilst also working independently on projects in his own responsibility. He had been collaborating with the Universities HSR Rapperswil in Switzerland and HfWU Nürtingen-Geislingen in Germany, as consultant for the project didactic and as contract professor.

He is a chartered member of the Italian Chamber of Architects, Urban Planners, Landscape Architects and Architect Restorers, with the qualification of Planner, and he is a member of AIAPP - Associazione Italiana di Architettura del Paesaggio, the Italian association of landscape architecture.
