The project aims to provide a space for children to immerse themselves in nature, fostering their attention, respect, and curiosity for the living world around them. By experiencing nature first hand, children begin to understand the intricate connections between each element of the garden, which create a beautiful and interconnected tapestry.

The concept of the new garden was defined following a participatory design phase with the teachers and the garden has been designed to give the children every opportunity to rediscover it. The focus is not on play equipment but rather on a varied, natural “play landscape”. New terrain modelling and vegetation divides the garden into different areas, providing space for many different activities, as well as areas to retreat to. There is a place for turbulent and noisy activity as well as for secluded and quieter play.

A variety of natural materials, plants and carefully selected elements provide the best conditions for playing, working and discovering. In addition, the new outdoor area offers a wide variety of project opportunities to further support the children's learning process.
