Goldbachpark is an important part of the green infrastructure of Brand-Erbisdorf, in the residential area on Dr.-Wilhelm- Külz-Straße. The client's wish was to improve the usability of the park, the paths and the accessibility of the newly designed recreation area and football pitch, while creating a playground for different age groups. The area, volume and diversity of the vegetation has been adapted in certain places to meet the new design objectives and has been promoted and extended throughout.

The existing mature trees are of particular importance as they have a positive influence on the microclimate. Many new trees have been planted both in the park and along the road. Biodiversity is promoted through a diverse selection of climate-adapted trees and shrubs and large flowers meadows managed extensively.

The path system of main and side paths has been extensively renovated and extended. Special emphasis has been placed on the entrance areas of the park. As well as being orientation points, they also become quality places to stay and meet. The areas where the paths cross are also highlighted with special planting that is attractive all year round.
