The project aims to meet the diverse needs of visitors to palaces, castles and gardens of Saxony. These visitors are of different ages and seek different experiences, including recreation, education or simply enjoying the scenic surroundings. Some may require assistance with orientation and accessibility. The aim is to offer all visitors a positive and comprehensive experience that leaves a lasting impression and encourages them to share their positive experiences with others.
The project has three main components. The first two components involve physical information carriers strategically placed at points of interest. These carriers incorporate smart technology that allows visitors to access information through their electronic devices, such as smartphones, or through devices provided at the site.
The third component focuses on the content of the information itself, available in both analogue and digitally enhanced formats. This allows visitors to choose the level of detail they prefer during their visit. Overall, the visitor experience is personalised, entertaining and therefore significantly improved.
