The competition for Villa Beausite comprises two developments: the renovation and extension of the residence for the elderly and the development of intergenerational housing. The renovation and extension of Villa Beausite focuses on preserving its historic charm and monumental character, while converting the historic building into two modern residential units. The main entrance as well as the administration and dining rooms are relocated to a new extension.

In the intergenerational housing development, six strategically placed buildings merge with the surrounding green spaces and the urban neighborhood. Commercial and communal activities on the first floors are arranged around a central square. Attic spaces minimize visual impact, and underground parking and pathways ensure connectivity.

A new park encircles Villa Beausite, its expansion, and the intergenerational housing, fostering distant dialogue between their structures, while the topography of the site provides different levels of intimacy and privacy, always maintaining the visibility of the historic façade.
